Congress registration fees are in US$ (US Dollars) and includes entrance to Congress 2025 sessions selected, conference materials, and onsite mission opportunities.

Registration fees DO NOT include accommodation, meals, or travel and other related costs. Every person attending BWA Congress 2025 must register. Registration will not be complete and accepted until the registration fee is paid in full.

Additional participants can be added by simply clicking "Add Participant" at the end of the first participant registration process and before you proceed with payment.

In keeping with the desire to improve our stewardship of the environment we will only provide hard copies of the souvenir program book to those who request it.  Information about all activities will also be available via the congress app.

The BWA is seeking the advise and recommendation of the Australian Department of Home Affairs to be able to share the relevant visa information for our event. In the meantime, please check here https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-finder/visit to see if you need a visa and what type of visa you need to enter Australia.

If you do need a visa to enter Australia, please request an invitation letter below.  BWA will start issuing these letters on January 15, 2025 until May 15, 2025.  Invitation letters will be sent within 2 weeks after registration including payment is complete.  No invitation letters will be issues after May 15, as this will not allow sufficient time for visa applications to be processed.

To ensure your participation, we recommend that visa applications be lodged at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to the travel date.  Applications lodged too early or too far in advance of the event may result in those applications be set aside as the result of prioritizing visa caseloads and/or having the visa expire before the commencement of the congress.

You can assist participants from other parts of the world come to Congress 2025 by contributing to the Scholarship Fund.

• $379 allows one young leader to attend the Congress and the Emerging Leader Summit
• $425 allows one woman to attend the Congress and the Women's Summit

The purpose of collection, holding, use and disclosure of the information is to fulfil the ministry and administrative functions of the Baptist World Congress 2025.  We may share the information collected with affiliated organizations and hosts of events and sessions you are attending. We may also disclose this information to organizations providing processing and other support functions to Baptist World Alliance and Queensland Baptists. We ensure that such organizations are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988 as part of our contractual arrangements.  We also collect your information to invite you to any future events.  We may communicate with you for any of these purposes by email or mail.  While you can unsubscribe at any time by writing to us, we would request that you not unsubscribe until after the Congress or you will miss receiving important information about the event.

Media and Photography Consent

As part of attendance at the Baptist World Congress 2025, photos/videos will taken and stored by Baptist World Alliance (BWA) and Queensland Baptists (QB) (in accordance with the Privacy Act of QLD). Video footage and photographs will be taken to record events and may be used to promote the BWA, future conferences, QB Churches, their activities in both print and digital formats, including websites, social media and other digital forms of communication.  We need permission from all persons on this registration, including the parent/guardian of any children, for their photo/video to be taken.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration fees will be refunded only when a written request, which includes the reason for cancellation, is received at [email protected] before March 31, 2025. An administration fee of US$50 will apply to each cancellation. We regret that cancellations made after March 31, 2025, will result in loss of the entire registration fee unless the cancellation is due to a visa denial.  A full refund of registration fees will be issued to those who have their visa denied, only if the visa application was lodged prior to April 30, 2025.  To receive a refund, you must apply by June 30, 2025, by emailing your request to [email protected] and including a copy of your denial letter, along with proof of your application having been made before April 30, 2025. 

IMPORTANT:  ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE on June 1, 2025. After that date, you will need to register onsite after you arrive in in Brisbane, Australia (dependent on availability).
